    Her Journey

    A Personal Path Into Chiropractic

Dr. Liz originally planned to attend medical school. Around the time she graduated from college, she experienced the loss of her mother to cancer.

Reflecting on her mother’s lifelong health struggles led Dr. Liz to think deeply about the kind of healthcare professional she wanted to become and the role that education, lifestyle, prevention, connection, and individualized support can play in a person’s health journey.

She discovered chiropractic and felt drawn to a profession that allowed her to work closely with patients, understand how they function and move, and help people become more engaged in their own care.

That path ultimately led her to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 2018, the institution now known as Northeast College of Health Sciences.

    More Than an Adjustment

For Dr. Liz, meaningful care begins with listening. A symptom may be what first brings someone into the office, but she also wants to understand how that person is moving, functioning, adapting, and experiencing everyday life.

    What She Evaluates & Considers:

    Joint mobility & movement quality
    Movement patterns & gait
    Body awareness & spatial orientation
    Physical demands & daily strain
    Compensation strategies
    Stage of development or life
    Nervous-system regulation
    Individual goals & priorities

"Her goal is not to create a 'perfectly aligned' body. It is to help patients better understand their bodies and support the mobility, movement, and function that matter to their lives."

A Special Heart for Growing Kids

Children are constantly changing. From a newborn discovering their earliest movement patterns to a growing child developing balance, coordination, body awareness, and independence, movement provides important experiences throughout development.

Dr. Liz is passionate about giving parents a place where they can ask questions, better understand how their child is moving and functioning, and receive gentle chiropractic care adapted specifically to a growing body.

    Maternal Care

    Supporting Mothers Through Change

Pregnancy is an extraordinary period of physical adaptation. As baby grows, the mother's center of gravity, pelvic mechanics, posture, movement strategies, and everyday physical demands continue to change.

Dr. Liz enjoys helping women better understand those changes and supporting mobility and comfortable function throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Her approach is designed around the mother—not around forcing the body into one perfect position.

    Questions Are Welcome Here

    Understanding Your Body Matters

Dr. Liz believes patients and parents should understand what is happening during their care. She takes time to explain what she is evaluating, what she is noticing, why movement or mobility may matter, how findings fit into the larger picture, why a recommendation is being made, and what the next step may look like.

The goal is for patients to feel involved in their care rather than simply told what to do.

    Specialized Program

    Taking the Developmental Conversation Deeper

Dr. Liz’s interest in movement, development, coordination, sensory regulation, and body awareness also led to the development of Rooted Pathways: A Neurodevelopment Program.

Rooted Pathways provides a more comprehensive option for children whose needs extend beyond standard pediatric chiropractic care and may include deeper assessment of developmental movement, primitive reflex patterns, sensory and proprioceptive regulation, coordination, and functional participation.

Care Through Every Season of Life

Although pediatrics and prenatal care are important parts of Dr. Liz’s work, Mojica Chiropractic Care is designed to support people through adulthood as well.

Work, parenting, exercise, changing routines, aging, and everyday physical demands continually ask the body to adapt. Adult care focuses on mobility, movement, function, and helping people continue participating in the activities that matter to them.

    Rooted in Winter Springs

After graduating from chiropractic college, Dr. Liz began her career in Connecticut. Over time, she and her husband wanted to build a life closer to the people they love. With family connections in both Florida and Puerto Rico, Winter Springs became the place where they chose to put down roots.

Today, Mojica Chiropractic Care serves families from Winter Springs, Oviedo, and surrounding Central Florida communities in a practice built around connection, education, and individualized care.

When She’s Not in the Office

Outside the office, Dr. Liz treasures time with her husband and their dogs, Laila and Estella. She enjoys camping, birdwatching, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors. Those moments with family and nature give her opportunities to recharge and stay connected to the things that matter most to her.
